I remember my husband once asking why our boudoir studio was located all the way out in Ramsey instead of somewhere more central in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. Honestly, there are a lot of reasons why we intentionally chose a quieter location outside the city. While many of our boudoir clients travel from the Minneapolis metro area, we also regularly welcome women from St. Cloud, Duluth, western Wisconsin, Iowa, and even North Dakota. Boudoir is a big investment and people are usually willing to travel a little (or a lot) to go to the photographer that can make their vision come to life and give them the best boudoir experience.

Our private boudoir photography studio is conveniently located near Highway 169 and Highway 10, making it easy to reach whether you’re traveling from northern Minnesota, the Twin Cities, or out of state. Many clients tell us they appreciate how simple and stress-free the drive feels compared to navigating busy downtown Minneapolis traffic.

As someone who lives in the suburbs, I’ll admit it, downtown traffic stresses me out. Between one-way streets, expensive parking ramps, and rage inducing traffic, heading into Minneapolis can quickly become overwhelming, especially for those who are not use to navigating the city streets.

One thing I personally love about our Ramsey, MN boudoir studio is how easy it is to get here. Our boudoir photoshoots are typically scheduled on weekday mornings, which helps clients avoid the worst traffic times. Plus, parking is completely free, and there’s plenty of it. I cherish my chill drive up to Ramsey and easily rolling into a spacious parking spot in a mostly empty parking lot.

We all know how expensive rent and housing have gotten, and commercial rent prices in Minneapolis are no exception.. By choosing a location farther outside the city, we were able to invest in a much larger boudoir photography studio that we could fully customize for our clients and our business.

When we moved into our Ramsey studio space in 2024, the oversized rooms and high ceilings sold us. Olivia immediately started dreaming up ideas for future boudoir sets and lighting options. Over the last few years, we’ve added multiple specialty sets and creative lighting setups that allow clients to completely customize their boudoir photoshoot experience.

We now offer so many different looks and styles that many clients come back for second and third sessions just to try something new. From the bed set, the flower arch, art gallery, book nook, liquor bar, many different back drops, and specialty lighting sets you'll never struggle to think of something fun to try for your next boudoir session.

The extra space also allowed us to create a dedicated storage area for props, backdrops, accessories, and our huge size-inclusive client closet. We also have a private changing area, a comfortable hair and makeup space, and a cozy lounge area where clients can relax before and after their same-day image reveal.
