If you love the idea of getting lost in a dreamy world filled with romance, mystery, and a little magic, our Book Nook set is calling your name.
The Belle Marie Boudoir team has created a cozy corner that feels like stepping into your favorite fantasy novel. We know how many of our clients are book lovers, and now we’ve made a space that brings the magic of reading to life!
This set is more than just a fun background, it's an immersive experience.

Whether you’re a full-on bookworm or just someone who appreciates soft lighting and rich textures, the Book Nook brings that magical main character energy to your boudoir photoshoot. Imagine curling up in a velvet chair, surrounded by vintage books and golden light. You'll find yourself feeling like the heroine in your own story.
We’ve filled two bookshelves with beautiful worn vintage books that bring a warmth and sense of enchantment to the space. The corner then transitions into pure fantasy with a wall of open-faced books styled with beautiful flowers and draping lights. It brings to life the feeling completely losing yourself in the pages of a book.
Why We’re So Excited About The Book Nook
All of us at Belle Marie Boudoir are so excited about this addition, because we are all huge book lovers ourselves.

Olivia love romantic fantasy for the stories that mix love and magic in a way that sweeps you away. When it comes to Olivia’s favorite books, the spicer the better! When she’s not working or spending time with her kids, you’ll find her listening to an audiobook. It’s how she recharges and dreams.
Tia has a Master’s in history and loves anything that blends past and present. From fiction to nonfiction, fantasy to contemporary novels, she reads it all. She loves to curl up with a book in bed evening, even though that often leads to an unplanned late night because she just needs to read “one more chapter.”
Mackenzie gets excited about magical love stories, bold heroines, and anything that pulls you into another universe. She keeps up to date on the new big series or titles, and she loves to discuss your current favorites while she’s getting you ready for the photoshoot.
We often bond with clients over discussions of stories we loved or sharing our current obsessions. One of our team's favorite series is A Court of Thorns and Roses; and yes, we even have a fantasy-inspired look in our style closet called the “Under the Mountain” dress. We loved how excited clients would get to add a touch of their favorite book to their boudoir experience, so we built on that idea and that’s how the Book Nook was born!

Creating a Meaningful Boudoir Photoshoot Experience
We know how it feels to be nervous about boudoir sessions. But when you walk into our studio, you’ll be surrounded by a team that’s here to help you feel confident and beautiful. Belle Marie Boudoir was designed to be a calm and empowering space.

It should be an unforgettable experience, one where you can feel comfortable expressing your true self and finding a sense of confidence! Our studio is built for comfort, creativity, and connection. The Book Nook set is just one of many ways we make each session feel unique and personal.
Books have a way of making our true selves feel seen. A good story lets us to escape the demands of the day for just a little while, while we dream of new worlds, bold characters, and whirlwind adventures. Our book recommendations you should pick up!
Olivia's Book Recommendations:
Sarah J. Maas – The Queen of Fantasy
Honestly, just read all of Sarah J. Maas’s books. Start with A Court of Thorns and Roses, then dive into Throne of Glass, and finally sink into Crescent City. Her worlds are rich and layered, her heroines are fierce and flawed, and the character growth will pull at your heart. She weaves trauma, healing, love, and power into epic adventures that stick with you long after the last page. If you love worlds you can completely lose yourself in, this is where to start.
Fourth Wing – The Empyrean Series by Rebecca Yarros
Dragons. Magic. Romance. Need I say more? This series is planned to be five books long, and three are already out. If you want a mix of heart-pounding action, jaw-dropping twists, and just the right amount of smut, this is the ride for you. Think “Hunger Games” meets “How to Train Your Dragon” with a lot more spice.
The Road of Bones – The Ashen Series by Demi Winters
Imagine Throne of Glass colliding with Viking legends, and you’ve got this series. It’s filled with sweeping battles, rich magic, layered characters, and a plot that will keep you turning pages late into the night. There’s a touch of spice, but not too much, making it perfect if you want adventure and intrigue with a dash of romance.
From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout
This one is for fans of morally gray characters, epic battles between gods and mortals, and some very steamy scenes. The female lead is strong and complex, and the male lead? Let’s just say he lives in that delicious gray area we all secretly love. Throw in vampires, gods, betrayal, and swoony romance, and you’ve got a binge-worthy series you won’t want to put down.
