"I just never saw myself as looking sexy with barely anything on": Ms. Y's First Boudoir Photoshoot

I’m surprised I haven’t written a blog feature for Ms. Y yet, she was here all the way back in October of 2025.

Ms. Y came to after finally getting to a point in her life where she was feeling comfortable in her body. That meant it was time to celebrate her body with a boudoir photoshoot!

“I had recently gotten a breast reduction surgery and lost some weight for my health and I wanted some pictures for myself to remember the first time I actually felt comfortable in my own body!”

What if I don’t like my photos?

Leading up to the big day, Ms. Y was mostly excited about the photoshoot. The entire process of having professional hair and make up and the experience of a photoshoot itself was something she was looking forward to. Her only worry was that she wouldn’t like many photos.

“I was never nervous about the shoot but more nervous that I wasn't going to like too many pictures because I just never saw myself as looking sexy with barely anything on.”

She was hesitant to pre-select a package with a lot of images, so she pre-paid for the starting package. This is a good strategy for anyone who’s nervous about selecting a bigger package and not finding enough photos they like (it has never happened to our clients, but we understand the fear).

Memories Made

As she expected, Ms. Y had so much fun throughout the entire day!

“I absolutely loved the entire experience! I laughed I was comfortable I enjoyed the outfit changes and the poses and just the amazing vibe and atmosphere that all these ladies created! I truly feel that what made this such a great experience was the great attitude and professionalism of everyone involved!”

So what happened when we got to the Image Reveal that she had been nervous about?

She ended up loving way more photos that she ever expected! She went from prepaying for the starting package incase she didn’t like very many photos, to bumping up to the second highest packages to get all the photos she loved. In the end, she loved too many photos and had a hard time narrowing them down.

We asked her about the photos and albums she ordered after receiving everything and here’s what she had to say:

“I got an album physical and digital! I kept the album to myself I'm in love with how it turned out it looks fabulous but I'm more into the digital album because it's always with me so on those days that I just need a little extra reassurance I can go back and look at all my pictures and relive the wonderful memories of that day and all the amazing feelings of confidence and happiness that I felt throughout!”
